Q: How long have you been part of our Core fam?
R:
Two years in February.

Q: Did you have any concerns about CrossFit before you began?
R:
 I definitely had some reservations about CrossFit as a whole for many years if I’m being totally honest. I feel like for many, there is a stigma around the CrossFit brand as a whole you often hear about when people are talking about it. Especially when it comes to the atmosphere that you often find in many CrossFit gyms. But after hearing nothing but positive things about The Core, and the direction they had chosen to take their CrossFit gym, I was curious to try it out. I’m so glad I did. There is something truly special and different about CrossFit at The Core.

Q: What made you give The Core a try?
R:
My awesome sister-in-laws Hannah and Analiese had been encouraging me to try out the Core for a while because they loved it and thought I would too! They were right. 😉

Q: What do you love the most about being a part of The Core?
R:
 I love that The Core truly cares about it’s members overall health and well-being. The Core helps its members reach fitness and nutrition goals in an effective, loving, and sustainable way. None of that toxic fitness industry stuff. Just real people, real work, real goals.

Q: What is your favorite CrossFit movement/element?
R:
 Hmm, that’s a really hard question! Favorite weightlifting movement would probably be the power snatch or front squat. Favorite cardio movement.....Burpees. I know I know! 🙈

Q: What is your least favorite CrossFit movement/element?
R:
For sure my least favorite would be heaving snatch balance. Makes my brain hurt every. Single. Time. 🤯

Q: What is your CrossFit/health goal this coming year?
R:
 My husband and I are currently expecting a son in March of 2021! My goal is to stay as active as possible for the remainder of my pregnancy. I have SO appreciated the coaches at The Core for helping me navigate fitness during pregnancy. I look forward to continue working with them through my postpartum fitness journey as well. 😊

Q: Anything extra you want to share?
R:
 God gave you an amazing thing when He gave you your body. CrossFit at The Core is a way for me to honor God by honoring the body God gave me! I workout because I love my body, not because I hate it. Come join The Core! It’s so much fun!
